2022 Review – Celyn

As we prepare for the 2023 season, our Clubs take a look back at their 2022 successes! Celyn Polocrosse Club, based in North Wales, tell us all about their 2022 season:

2022 was a busy season for Celyn members in both training and tournaments. The year saw Celyn support all tournaments during the year with members attending and numerous successes as a result.

This success continued in Pony Club, with a number of players in winning teams at the Pony Club Championships. Congratulations to Leia, Isabella and Daisy, who represented the Flint & Denbigh branch and lifted the Stoneleigh Open Juniors trophy! Special mention also to Maggie, Charlotte and Grace who were runners-up in the Brookes Open Minis.

Our new Cheshire grounds saw us host two great events during the year as well as numerous training sessions. A big thank you to Cheshire Polo for the collaboration, and we look forward to returning in 2023.

The start of 2023 saw the return of our annual Christmas party – well done to all our award winners!

For the upcoming season our key objectives are to continue with consolidating our membership and also to support our Sports Development plan and grow the club even more!
