Applications for Chief Selector

Applications are now invited for the position of UKPA Chief Selector. The appointment will be for two years in the first instance with a further term of two years subject to review.

The Chief Selector acts as Chairman of Selectors and will administer and moderate the selection process for all UKPA representative squads.

The Chief Selector is responsible for gathering volunteers to act as selectors. A full job description is provided in Appendix 6 to Section 2.3 of the UKPA Handbook and a description of the selection process in section 3.6.

The Chief Selector is tasked with ensuring that selection is carried out efficiently, and with absolute fairness and transparency. As a result, applicants should have no foreseeable conflicts of interest with activities related to selection.
