Bombers Pony Club Arena Tournament Results

The Pony Club Polocrosse Arena Tournament ran for it’s third year on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April at Dallas Burston Polo Club. Bombers Equestrian Equipment once again supported the weekend with some great prizes, and there was a record entry for the event. Despite a fair amount of rain leading up to the weekend, players and their supporters didn’t get quite as wet as they had feared earlier in the week!

There were three divisions running, with Minis, Juniors and Seniors from across the UK making the journey to Warwickshire. In the Minis division it was Isabel Lewis of Dinas Powys and Taryn Tinker of the Essex & Suffolk Hunt who took the top spot. For the Juniors a combined Oakley Hunt / Area 5 section of Boy Wilson-Fitzgerald, Katie Davies and Yasmin Palmer snatched victory after a nailbiting Golden Goal. Then in the Seniors it was down to the wire again, this time with the two North Warwickshire teams also going to Golden Goal! In this hotly-contested division it was Theo Cornforth, Fin Bristow and Tegan Bristow who emerged victorious.

The prize for Best Male Player of the tournament went to Boy Wilson-Fitzgerald of the Oakley Hunt West, and Best Female Player was awarded to Katie Loutsiou of the North Warwickshire.
